The Embryo Project is dedicated to creating new waters and protecting existing ones in the UK. The project has now spread to mainland Europe and as such Danny requires a highly motivated and proficient project manager to create a never-ending portfolio of waters to serve anglers in The Netherlands and Belgium.
Danny’s research has shown that there are many prospective waters in this region that are currently not fished, and so need effective and passionate management to bring them to the peak of their potential. This is an arduous and relentless pursuit with numerous set backs at every turn, so the successful candidate must be highly motivated with excellent problem solving and negotiating skills.
Embryo EU plans to turn previously poorly or unmanaged waters into the super waters of the future, for predominantly local people to enjoy. Embryo is not interested in outbidding existing tenants like the VBK and local fishing clubs to get control of their waters, this project is all about creating totally new fisheries or saving dying ones.
Memberships will be for countrymen first and foremost. Membership numbers will be restricted to give all who do join the freedom to angle properly. Embryo is a not-for-profit organisation, this means neither Danny nor anyone else will ever take a penny in profit from it. This keeps membership fees as low as possible whilst providing excellent stocks of fish and facilities. Embryo waters will be the perfect balance between ‘wild’ and ‘pay’ waters, preserving the essence of carp fishing whilst maintaining a clean and ‘natural’ environment to fish in.
An unrelenting calling to serve their fellow anglers and put their needs above his/her own must be at the very core of this person. Danny’s own work ethic and values are higher than most will have experienced and a total dedication to the cause is mandatory.
Profiel
Danny expects an honest and committed candidate/person with an unbridled passion for angling, along with the skill and drive to innovate a historically backdated industry into the modern age.
So, if you have excellent written and spoken English alongside your native Dutch along with more than 5 years of senior project management experience or a CO or NCO military career spanning more than 10 years, coupled with excellent carp fishing skills spanning at least 15 years, Danny would like your CV with a covering letter of no more than 250 words in English explaining why you are right for this challenge.
Wat krijg je ervoor terug?
Salary is negotiable depending on skill set and experience, but applicants should aware the selection process will be stringent. You will need to spend time travelling to venues so total flexibility will be expected. As will a consistent presence at Korda HQ in Kerkrade, Netherlands.
If you have the experience and passion Danny has described he would like to hear from you. You can reply to info@korda-eu.com, mentioning ‘application Embryo Project Manager’. Closing date: 25-11-2020
Cheers,
Team Korda
